Shipping Questions

How long does it take to receive my order?

The shipping process begins after your order is placed and payment is received. Most orders are packed and processed within 24 to 48 hours. Please note that for large orders, we set appointments with LTL carriers for pickup, which may cause an additional 24 hour delay.

Floor Junkies retains the right to choose the carrier with the best rates. Free standard shipping takes approximately 6 – 12 business days, depending on the destination within the Continental USA. However, if you pay for expedited shipping, the shipping department will choose the carrier that has the quickest transit time, which is usually anywhere from 2 – 6 business days depending on the destination in relationship to our warehouse. In situations where you are leaving out of town, please inform Customer Service (post purchase) of the day you expect to leave to ensure your order is delivered prior to that date. If you are requesting to receive an order by a particular deadline or before a holiday, please contact Customer Service in advance so that there is enough time to process and ship your order.

NOTE: Primarily, orders ship out of the main warehouse in Houston, Texas. However, we do have other warehouses within the USA. If we encounter any delays while the order is being processed, you will receive an e-mail providing the expected ship out date.

Where do we ship?

All shipping offers apply only to the Continental USA. Additional fees will apply for orders going to Hawaii or Alaska.  We do not ship to Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, Guam, or any other US territory that is not part of the Continental USA. Canada and Mexico are also excluded. If you wish to purchase a product and reside outside of the Continental USA, special arrangements are required. For customers residing outside of the USA, please contact your own logistic company to make necessary arrangements.  Many Canadian customers arrange for the product to be delivered in border towns and then make the trip to pickup the product. Floor Junkies reserves the right to cancel any order for any reason.

Please note, the LTL Freight carrier trucks will not proceed down private roads and are only permitted to deliver the pallet(s) curbside or at the end of the driveway. If you require special shipping services, such as inside delivery or expedited shipping, please contact Customer Service in advance so that arrangements can be made.

How is my flooring packaged?

Usually, if your purchase weight is 300 lbs. or less, it will ship via FedEx Ground in brown boxes. Each box will receive individual tracking numbers. Generally, a shipment that exceeds 300 lbs. will ship through one of our contracted LTL Freight carriers. In this case, the product gets packaged together in manageable sized boxes, then gets securely wrapped and palletized.

NOTE: Floor Junkies reserves the right to repackage the product to accommodate shipping requirements.

Can I track my packages?

You will receive an e-mail from Floor Junkies once the chosen carrier has picked up the shipment. You can expect an email from the Floor Junkies system as soon as the tracking number is available. If the order happens to ship via FedEx, you will also receive an email directly from them. Please note that when shipped via FedEx, only the master tracking number is provided even though each package has its own individual tracking number. If your order has been shipped out through one of the LTL Freight carriers, an e-mail will be sent to you providing the link to the carrier’s website in addition to your shipment’s tracking number (a.k.a. PRO#). On rare occasions, e-mails are sometimes undeliverable by the server. If you do not see your order confirmation or shipping details within 48 hours from your purchase, please do not hesitate to contact us.
