BlockTile Coin - Garage Floor Tiles - 1 sq. ft. - Black
Product Rating: Product Review (submitted on April 12, 2009):My garage is pictured in the photo gallery. I purchased the black and white coin tiles with black edging. I read some tips on installing this stuff and used pergo underlayment under the tiles and black industrial rubber wall molding for a finished look. The tiles overall are easy to install with a rubber mallet. You have to get a feel for popping them together without ruining the locking pieces. They can be somewhat difficult to unlock as well. They are difficult to cut. The best method I found was to use a jigsaw with the tile clamped down to a work surface. It's somewhat of a violent cut because of the backing ridges but it will do the trick. If you're lucky on your install you won't have to make many cuts. I'm very pleased with this floor. The white tiles do show much more dirt and are more difficult to clean than the black so keep that in mind. We use our garage daily and are constantly moving our cars in and out in the rain/snow/shine so the tiles do get dirty quickly. I use my leaf blower and an industrial mop with degreaser and warm water to clean them to a shine. If you're looking to make your garage the envy of the street this is it. People are constantly commenting on my garage. You'll be hard pressed to find a company selling these tiles for less than floorjunkies with FREE shipping.
